You, Me, & Mt Rainier
As a commissioned artist for Delta’s Launchpad Pop-Up in Seattle, I designed and installed You, Me, & Mt Rainier: an immersive two-player virtual flight through colorful renditions of London, Tokyo, and Seattle. Bites of dessert taken using custom designed spoon-controllers trigger in-game sounds and animations. This ride’s in-flight meal? Liquid nitrogen Rainier Cherry sorbet- a nod to Washington’s own cherry variety.
Occupying a rough 6’ by 6’ footprint, the installation served just over 400 guests over the course of a weekend. Received with great affection, the installation used sorbet, tech, and play to bring guests together.
